The online course on Marketing, Communication and Business Development for lawyers in the legal sector will start on December 11

The International Cycle of Conferences on Marketing, Communication and Business Development for Lawyers, a course with limited places offered by Thomson Reuters in collaboration with Gericó Associates, will take place from December 11 to 17. This training, given live online, will offer the necessary resources so that attendees can have advanced notions on how to manage their own brand or that of their firm.

The topics to be addressed in this specialized course include valuable know-how provided by the partners of the leading Legal Marketing and Legal Communication consultancy in Europe and Latin America. The agenda will cover issues such as the keys to strategic planning for law firms, digital marketing principles specifically applied to the legal sector, or even methods for generating leads and prospects.

At the start of the course, free access will be given to the recorded classes of the event and to the work material in virtual format. In addition, upon completion of the course, users will be awarded certification with a double seal from both firms: Thomson Reuters and Gericó Associates.

Therefore, and also given the proximity to the new year 2022, law firms continue to rethink and update their strategies in order to improve their positioning in the different markets in which they operate. In this course, we will shed light on the different keys that they are taking into account in their strategic planning, bearing in mind the new existing trends.

Topic 2: Digital marketing and the lawyer’s personal branding

  • Objective: In this module, lawyers will approach the principles of digital marketing specifically applied to the legal sector, with the aim of obtaining clear tools to work on their digital positioning. In addition, we will comment on the importance of the lawyer’s personal brand, reputation, and relationship with digital and offline positioning.

       Topic 3: Communication for lawyers.

  • Objective: To learn about the strategic scope of communication and media relations in terms of business objectives and positioning of law firms.

       Topic 4: Commercial strategies for legal services.

  • Objective: At this point, lawyers will learn about the different ways in which the sale of legal services has been generated. Additionally, they will learn how to create legal products and a methodology for lead generation and commercial prospecting.
